SPECIAL ISSUE ON EVOLUTION
---------------------------------------------------------------------
One of last year's great controversies was over the teaching of
evolution in American schools and attempts to introduce
Intelligent Design as an alternative scientific theory. Despite
Danish cartoons, the war on terror and a US judge's decision
on the school issue, this debate is not going away.
So this week we have three articles on the subject: an overview
of ID by Calgary Herald columnist Joe Woodard; a look at the
polemics of today's Darwinians by Sydney medical student Phillip
Elias; and a follow-up interview with philosopher Santiago
Collado in which he explains further his views on ID.
I hope you find all this as illuminating as I did.
As always, your feedback and suggestions are welcome.

DISCOVERING LIFE'S DESIGN
By Joe Woodard
The push to teach Intelligent Design as science in America's

DARWINISM STRIKES BACK

THE LIMITS OF SCIENCE
By Michael Cook

but it is not the only approach to evolution that is.
